Group Therapy

I recommend group therapy when clients want to improve their relational lives, from romantic partnerships to friendships to professional connections.  Interactions among group members allow you to deepen your understanding of how you relate to others.  Through honest yet supportive feedback, you learn what you do or say that draws others to you versus what you may do, often unknowingly, that keeps them at a distance.  You will learn how to evoke care and concern from others rather than generate mistrust or conflict.  Group work strengthens communications skills, trust, conflict management and healthy risk taking. It will strengthen your “real world” relationships and is a wonderful adjunct to individual therapy.
